My Blogging Hub accepts a small number of guest guides from people with real, hands-on experience in blogging, WordPress, ghostwriting or personal branding. If you have done the work and can show it, we would like to hear your idea.
What kind of guides do we publish?
- Practical how-to guides that help a beginner or early-stage blogger get something done.
- First-hand experience: something you set up, tested, measured or learned the hard way, with screenshots or results you can share.
- Topics: blogging, SEO for bloggers, WordPress, ghostwriting, freelance writing and personal branding.
What are the guidelines?
- Original and unpublished. The guide must be your own work and not published anywhere else, including your own site.
- Checked facts. Every claim, number and price needs a source we can verify, ideally the official one. Say what you tested yourself and when.
- Clear and useful. Answer the question in the first lines, use plain language, and keep it practical. Most of our guides run from 1,500 to 3,000 words, but length follows the topic.
- Links are editorial. We link to sources because they help the reader. We do not sell links, and we do not publish guides written to place links. Any link that is not plainly editorial is removed or marked as Google asks.
- Your byline. Accepted guides are published under your name with a short bio and a link to your site or main profile.
- We edit. We may edit for clarity, accuracy and style, and we will show you the final version before it goes live.
How do I pitch an idea?
Send a short pitch with the form below rather than a finished article. Tell us the topic, who it is for, what you have done or tested yourself, and a rough outline. Add links to two or three things you have written. If it is a good fit, we reply by email, usually within two weeks. If you do not hear back, the idea is not right for us at the moment.
Prefer email? Write to [email protected] with “Write for us” in the subject.
