In this module I’m going to state how drastically the email ads marketplace has changed over the last 5 years, and also how in my opinion their popularity has peaked exponentially, and according to my personal observations, solo ads seem to be at an all-time popularity.
Of course with popularity and time comes maturity.
I believe that the solo ad market has matured, which leads to a better buying and selling experience for everyone involved.
This has enhanced and improved the solo ad marketplaces for buyers especially, because once upon a time it was very easy for disputes to occur as a result of not having a centralized point of tracking and transaction.
As a result of this, it was easy to get ripped off buying solo ads.
In fact, back just 5 years ago, the solo ad market was strewn to the brim with solo ad vendors selling fake traffic.
I know, because I’ve purchased a ton of fake traffic over the years.
You’d be quite ashamed of the solo ad marketplace if you’ve learned of all the fake and low quality traffic I’ve had over the years.
The worst part, is that many of the people selling fraudulent traffic victimized their customers over and over again due to the lack of experience of the buyer, and also the ability to change the vendor’s identity over the Internet. In other words, there were a lot of gullible buyers to sell fake traffic to, and it was easy enough to come up with a new identity and rip more and more people off.
This is something I’ve seen time and time again, and it was very unsettling. Especially since at the time, the solo ad gurus never said a word about fake traffic,
and instead sold the dream that solo ads were easy as pie, and nothing could possibly go wrong.
Unfortunately, as always, as I experienced, the pie-in-the-sky gurus never tell you the whole story.
And I hate to turn this into a lesson about how easy it was to get ripped off back in the day, because these days it’s so much easier to buy solo ads safely.
Chiefly because, PayPal these days are very sensitive to fraudulent vendors of all types, and have stricter policies and procedures protecting buyers from fraudulent purchases such as fake solo ads ads.
It’s also easier to buy safe solo ads because there are marketplaces that stand behind you, and who act as a neutral third party incase you get ripped off, so you can always elevate it to the support on Udimi.com for example, and their staff will not only investigate the traffic on your behalf, but they will refund you your money promptly if the traffic was fraudulent.
In fact, it’s so much easier to buy safe solo ad traffic these days, that I no longer sell one of my products entitled The Shining Solo Ad Shield, whereupon I demonstrated several different ways to ensure that you don’t get ripped off buying solo ads.
I find that information to be redundant and unnecessary today however, and that’s a testament to how positively the solo ad industry has changed.
More and more people are buying solo ads, I believe, due to the fact that they are often promoted as the ideal method of advertisement for Biz Op opportunities.
The reality is that this only makes things easier for you, because naturally when the demand for something increases dramatically, the market rushes to correct itself by ushering in massive quantities of sellers to accommodate the high demand.
This also aids the marketplace overall; because there is such a high demand it facilitates the need for marketplaces to mature, and offer competitive services for those interested in buying and selling solo ads.
I personally love to check out who the top solo ad vendors were every week. This information was never available to the public just a few years ago.
So it was very easy for someone to falsely claim that they can send you a lot of email traffic.
So, consider that every solo ad Rolodex you’ve ever downloaded is now redundant, and you can tell who the most in-demand buyers are as of today.
The problem with a solo ad Rolodex is that it’s often out of date, and in my opinion being a solo ad vendor is something that requires constant work, and constant studying of the marketplace in order to stay active and in order to provide awesome traffic.
As a result, your typical solo ad Rolodex is useless, and I would instead encourage you to rely upon active and current data in the solo ad marketplace.
The demand for solo ads are so high these days that I think the cost of solo ads have been effected.
I remember 4 or 5 years ago hearing some solo ad gurus talk about how the cost of
clicks were high.
But back then I didn’t feel that they were, because I was personally able to dig out very high quality traffic for $.30 per click.
These days, the same vendors charge twice that amount in some cases, but I find the cost to still be a viable option to promote offers and to build a following.
I’m going finish up this post by restating that I believe solo ads and email marketing are at an all time high, it’s never been better to be an email marketer, it’s never been easier to build a following, and this comparing to any time in history.
So, I ask that you get excited about the ability to get your message to a mass audience at a very economical reach.
I will see you in the next post, for now I ask that you get excited about email marketing, because the odds have never been this much in your favor.
